1. COURSE OBJECTIVES
The course aims at (1) providing students with basic concepts and theories in studying, researching and analyzing tourism industry, and (2) helping students to understand the structure of the tourism industry and factors affecting the industry development.
Completing the course students will have knowledge of the nature of the existence and development of the tourism industry, and be able to analyze factors (economic and non-economic) affecting the development of the industry utilizing relevant economic tools and models. Students will have some skills and methods to develop tourism business as well as to develop the tourism industry.
