- COURSE OBJECTIVES
In the context of globalization, manufacturers/firms have more and more links to worldwide active supply chains. Accompanied by this, firms are facing countless untold pressure including market expansion, keen competition, increasing customer expectations in a dynamic business environment and so forth. The goal of this course is to learn the principle of how to design supply chain strategy from a global-multi dimensional perspective to support firms achieving their overall corporate objectives. More specifically, by the end of the course, students will be able to analyze a firm’ supply chain focus and its core competencies in order to design a supply chain strategy that supports its business model.
