1. COURSE OBJECTIVES
– CO1: This module provides students with fundamentals of the basic techniques and control procedures used in a hotel to maximize profits and minimize costs.
– CO2: The module concentrates in-depth on control objectives in the hotel including food and beverage costs, purchases, labor costs, menu prices, room rate setting, cash flow, anti-theft and loss, and computer application.
– CO3: The module is organized to give students knowledge about hands-on skills that revenue managers must master to maximize profit within their hospitality organization.
– CO4: The module provides students with the capabilities of self-studying, working independently, well adapting to change.
