1. COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course will introduce topics that will be covered in College Algebra. It is designed to familiarize learners with using function notation to describe data, with basic algebraic concepts such as polynomials, logarithmic and exponential functions, systems of linear equations. Additionally, the algebraic skills needed to pursue higher level studies in mathematics will be introduced and explored. It will also help learners to develop their logical thinking and problem-solving abilities; learners will have the opportunity to apply their prior knowledge and to make connections of algebraic concepts to real life applications.
