1. COURSE OBJECTIVES

This course introduces students to philosophy, institutions and role of law and their practical applications in the areas of interest to international business. It covers various legal topics related to the formation, management and operation of a business including legal forms of business entities, establishment, corporate governance, dissolution and bankruptcy. While most of this course is designed with a particular emphasis on Vietnamese law, a comparison with other legal systems including the US law, English law and the EU law will be also be provided.
