1. COURSE OBJECTIVES
The economics of climate change is a scientific subject that studies the mutual interdependent relationship regulation between economics and hot current climate issues, in order to ensure sustainable development based on the mitigation, adaptation to the impacts of climate change on the economy
The economics of climate change studies reciprocal effects of climate change on the economy, exploiting both sides of microeconomics and macroeconomics.
The economics of climate change mainly focuses on the issues of why people make decisions, policies that have consequences on climate, causing the damage on the economy and then proposing the policies and tools to mitigate and to adapt to the risks of climate change.
